On November 21, 2018 the TechLAB company announced creation of a system of the structured accounting of rheumatologic patients in St. Petersburg based on the Galenos platform. According to the results of the project for "Clinical rheumatologic hospital No. 25" the register of patients with rheumatologic diseases is created. The structured storage of complex data and creation of "the passport of the patient" will allow to keep account of many parameters of a disease and to analyze efficiency of the applied therapy.
According to the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation for 2017, in Russia about 1 million have rheumatologic diseases human. The majority of the diagnoses belonging to the category of rheumatologic is very dangerous – annually up to 80 thousand rheumatologic patients become disabled. To achieve remission at rheumatology, early diagnosis of a disease and therapy under strict medical control is necessary. However the majority of rheumatologic diseases proves is latent. Because of it patients quite often do not see doctors, or make them the wrong diagnoses. As a result the actual number of rheumatologic patients differs from credentials.
To improve data collection and to keep continuous account of patients with rheumatologic diagnoses, the St. Petersburg State budgetary health care institution "Clinical Rheumatologic Hospital No. 25" (SPB GBUZ KRB No. 25) made the decision to implement automated database about patients. For project implementation it was selected IT- the TechLAB developer having extensive examination in automation medicine.
As the basic solution the TechLAB company for accounting of patients offered the Galenos platform. Based on Galenos the add-on module including the automated workplace of the doctor, reference books of NSI, reports and services for exchange with the information medical systems of the specialized rheumatologic organizations using electronic medical records was developed.
IT solution represents the automated register of patients which structure of fields is developed taking into account features of parametrization of each of the selected nozologiya with participation of doctors of medical sciences and doctors of SPB by GBUZ KRB No. 25. For each rheumatologic patient in the register the complete digital passport is created. It will allow doctors to monitor state change of the patient and to adapt therapy taking into account regularly supplemented data. According to the results of installation of the solution in SPB of GBUZ KRB No. 25 the structured accounting of history of clinical assessment of a status of patients and their therapeutic treatment will be actually organized – the quality of management of services and resources of the organization will increase.
A system will allow to integrate separate medical cases in an overall picture of a disease of the patient, to analyze efficiency of the applied treatment and to plan further treatment taking into account considerable number of factors. Detailed information on a disease of the patient will give the chance to collect and use statistics for exact resource planning and medicines.
"Annually in Russia about 30 thousand rheumatologic patients are registered, and this number constantly grows. Each of them needs unique therapy which depends on a current status of the patient, contraindications, associated diseases and features of course of a disease. These data need to be considered correctly that the doctor at any time could see a summary picture on a specific disease even from the different medical organizations. The register will allow doctors to lower labor costs for accounting at the expense of the created nosological passports of patients and the connected reference books for their filling and also to use already available information in medical information systems. Aggregated data are a basis for decision making. The number of errors at purpose of therapy and distribution of expensive medicines will decrease". |
For November, 2018 in the system of 10 users. Setup of interaction of the set IT solution with other information systems of the rheumatologic and all-therapeutic medical centers is planned – a system will be able to exchange clinical data with them using a subsystem of "IEMK" of GIS REGIZ.
"Thorough accounting and data exchange about patients with other medical organizations will allow to monitor continuously change of number of rheumatologic patients, to timely send them for holding diagnostic and medical procedures, to improve approaches to therapy of rheumatologic diseases".
