2018: Start of service

On November 22, 2018 online retailer "Ulmart" announced start in the pilot mode of service of declarations for individuals with a possibility of carrying out safe transactions, storages and diagnostics of goods in warranty departments of the centers of execution of orders. Users can sell goods on the website Ulmart of Second. The bulletin board works as the subsection to which it is possible to pass from the main website of Ulmart.

Placement of offers for sellers free: declarations are included in the uniform directory of cut-price goods of Ulmart. As the developer noted, advantage Ulmart of Second in use of logistics and examination of Ulmart for providing additional services to users: "Storage" and Diagnostics. Sellers can leave goods on storage for up to 30 days, and buyers — to carry out diagnostics in the centers of execution of orders before purchase: experts of warranty departments will check a status and operability of goods, compliance to characteristics, will perform inspection on external injuries.

Make purchase and sale process convenient and the service "The safe transaction" allows to reduce risks of users. Ulmart insures clients against financial losses, charging for use of service from the seller the fee in the amount of 30 rubles and 2.8% of goods cost: the buyer transfers payment for goods to transit account where it is frozen until goods receipt by the buyer, the developer emphasized.

At activation of "The safe transaction" it is possible to use Diagnostics free of charge. In other cases, the cost of Diagnostics will be from 290 to 390 rubles depending on category of goods. The cost of Storage — 190 rubles, reported in Ulmart.

For November, 2018 the platform works in the test mode. On start of the project it is possible to use Storage and Diagnostics only in St. Petersburg: in the suburban center of execution of orders on Pulkovskoye Highway, 43k2 and in the center of execution of orders on Sizov Avenue, 2. After the termination of the pilot Ulmart will expand quantity of objects, available to services, in St. Petersburg, Moscow and Krasnodar.

Placing the offer on sale, the owner of goods fills out the name, a photo, the short description and the price, specifies the location. Quickly express filling function will help to create and publish the declaration: characteristics will automatically be loaded from base of the goods which were earlier on sale in Ulmart and after moderation will be included in the directory Ulmart of Second. The built-in filters and detailed characteristics on categories, cost and the region will help to find quickly necessary goods, the developer noted.

The messenger is with each other developed for communication of sellers and buyers. Users can agree about a payment method and deliveries, to exchange messages and calls, to subscribe for notifications on goods, to monitor changes of conditions and the prices.

For November, 2018 in the pilot mode it is possible to sell on the platform computers and notebooks, component parts for the PC, tablets and game consoles, smartphones and gadgets, home appliances, goods for sport and tourism, goods for the house, dacha and repair, TVs, audio-and video equipment. Later the company will open access to all types of goods which are on sale in Ulmart.

The term of placement of declarations — 30 days. It is possible to specify special characteristics in a card of the declaration: status of goods and packaging, functionality, completeness. It is forbidden to publish declarations without photo.

The commission from "Safe transactions" and payment of services Storage and Diagnostics will become monetization sources for the retailer. It is going to provide to private sellers additional paid tools for promotion of declarations in the directory and also to manufacturing companies, partners of core business of Ulmart — places for advertizing.
