The mobile supercomputer developed by Vega concern and the INFORMATION RETRIEVAL SYSTEM of RAS of A.K. Aylamazyan is the computer system with the system of submersible liquid cooling of modules.

2018: Representation of the mobile supercomputer

On November 23, 2018 Rostec announced that the Ruselectronics holding developed the compact mobile supercomputer. 40 nodes are introduced into the computing module of 1900х1350х1000 mm in size, each node may contain up to 4 processors and up to 4 video cards. The node can include or processors of architecture Elbrus, or h86_64 with arithmetic accelerators to 2.2 Pflops (peak capacity). At the same time the technology allows to create the heterogeneous platform where in one product nodes with processors of different architecture will be used.

The computing module allows to reach data storage volume to 2.2 PBytes. At the same time the computer consumes 40% less electric power, than solutions presented at the market, claim in Rostec.

Important feature of the provided supercomputer is the system of submersible liquid cooling of modules which allows to create mobile computer centers based on normal bodies containers out of specially equipped premises. Besides, the cooling system differs in the low level of noise, a heat - and moisture security and also fire safety.

Our supercomputer has wide scope of application, including in the space industry. For example, it can be used for automatic object recognition at satellite shooting, modeling of space aircraft and assessment of a status of their onboard systems. Development has modular creation, is equipped with the systems of maintenance of working capacity ‒ it allows to create the mobile computing system of any power, any appointment in every spot on the globe.

The energy efficient supercomputers created by JSC Vega Concern and the INFORMATION RETRIEVAL SYSTEM of RAS of A.K. Aylamazyan can be used to calculations in the field of robotics, artificial intelligence and technical sight, neural networks of deep learning, three-dimensional predictive modeling, processing of Big Data, creation of digital doubles of product samples.
