VTB started Alipay acquiring in the Far East

On November 26, 2018 the Crystal Service Integration company reported that the VTB bank expands acquiring service of a payment service of Alipay – for November, 2018 its action extends not only to Moscow, St. Petersburg and Irkutsk, but also all Far East. The service allows tourists to pay from the People's Republic of China the purchases through special mobile application. The first retail chain stores of Nevada Group were connected to the project in the Far East – the offer is implemented in Cambury hypermarkets and minimarkets Razdva.

VTB ensured functioning of POS terminal and cash service at which bank cards are not involved in any way. Payment happens to use of mobile application of Alipay. The QR code of a purse of the buyer or a QR transaction code is for this purpose scanned.

In October, 2017 the VTB Group started acquiring service of Alipay service in the POS terminal network. Functioning of service is ensured by the transaction platform developed by bank. Through it there take place all transactions of participating banks of the project in Russian rubles and the Chinese yuans.
