2018: Upgrade of IT infrastructure

On November 26, 2018 the ALP Group company announced completion of large-scale upgrade of IT infrastructure in the Russian representative office of the Austrian company Fischer Sports (Fisher LLC), producer of cross-country and mountain skis. Within upgrade ALP Group planned and carried out a complex of the interconnected projects (reorganization of a local network, virtualization of servers, increase otkazo-and disaster tolerance of the application software) that significantly improved work of key IT services of representation. At the same time IT infrastructure of the company not only became quickly scalable, but also was prepared for installation of standard configurations of the equipment and the services necessary for start and work of bonus shops of ski stock Fischer Sports opening in December, 2018 in Moscow and Sochi.

Cooperation of Fisher LLC and ALP Group began in October, 2017 – with service of a server part of IT infrastructure (Windows/Linux-the servers ensuring functioning of the corporate websites applications 1C and also permanent data exchange between different IT systems of support of sales). Later, in 4 months 2018, ALP Group improved basic IT processes (management of addresses and incidents) and also entered the high-level processes (management of IT problems and changes c IT) which allowed to increase considerably quality of technical support. According to the offer of ALP Group in the Russian representative office more tough parameters of quality of IT service (SLA), than Fischer Sports set by the international technical support were accepted. Toughening of SLA twice and reduction up to 15 minutes of a response time on IT incidents was led to the fact that the solution of any IT incident or a problem with guarantee takes 1-2 hours, depending on complexity and criticality.

After this ALP Group reorganized the Phisher local area network and led it to the uniform technology standards admitted to Fischer Sports. And also prepared and performed transfer of IT infrastructure of representation, having again connected to it remote objects (warehouses, outlets). All works were carried out with minimum possible idle time which was not exceeding 1 hour that allowed to avoid a negative impact of moving for sales. In parallel with it the service company prepared IT infrastructure of representation for fast scalability and installation of standard configurations of the equipment and IT services in shops of the company. Besides, outlets had an opportunity of independent operation (settings of services allow to continue work even if touch with the central office is lost). At the same time recovery of IT infrastructure in case of possible failures is accelerated. According to the results of the project it takes no more than 3 hours. All these changes are necessary that it is the simplest, quickly and qualitatively to open Fischer Sports shops and to qualitatively support them. For November, 2018 ALP Group prepares for opening two shops of mountain and cross-country skis, stock for hockey in Moscow and Sochi (item Krasnaya Polyana). The service company will perform their complex IT service.

Since October, 2018 availability and a status of IT infrastructure of office, warehouses and all shops of representation Fischer Sports in Russia and the CIS countries is continuously traced using STsMK "Argus" — service of the centralized monitoring and control of the IC. Thanks to STsMK IT specialists of ALP Group online obtain up-to-date information about all "bottlenecks" in operation of the IC (synchronization of data between warehouses, shops and office and so forth), about the outlined problems and incidents in IT infrastructure (for example, about falling of performance of 1C). And also have detailed state-of-health data of IT services, business applications, the equipment and the websites of the company. Also create archive of objective state-of-health data of the IC. All this allows them to prevent up to 80% of IT problems. And for IT incidents which nevertheless took place — as fast as possible and precisely to eliminate not only effects, but also the reasons. Not to allow their repetition.

For November, 2018 planned updating of the server hardware and DWH and reorganization of server 1C at which the customer's business systems work comes to the end: "1C: Warehouse", "1C: Management and trade", "1C: Payroll and personnel". In parallel specialists of ALP Group conduct preparation for implementation in 2019 of the system of an inventory control. At selection of the equipment and determination of its optimal configuration specialized IT services based on STsMK "Argus", in particular, the automated sayzing of computing powers were applied. It allowed to avoid unbalanced configurations when choosing servers and DWH and to do without overpayment by 1.5 times for excess resources which will not be demanded.

In December, 2016 system integrator ALP Group put into commercial operation STsMK "Argus" in Russian representation Fischer Sports.
