"Alko-Polyus" using printers of Epson saved about 50% of costs for printing

On November 28, 2018 the Seiko Epson Corporation company reported that "Alko-Polyus" ordered and installed the Epson WorkForce Enterprise multifunction devices. According to the company, having replaced laser printers with inkjet multifunction devices, the company for November, 2018 managed to reduce costs for the accompanying documentation for 50% due to reduction in cost of printing and service of the equipment.

Having big document flow, the Alko-Polyus company faced such problems as high cost value of printing, frequent expensive repair of equipment and also the heating and an unpleasant smell selected by printers at hard work. The last not only had a negative impact on health of employees, but also polluted the environment.

As a result the decision to update the park of the equipment was made, having replaced laser printers — Epson WorkForce Enterprise inkjet multifunction devices with a print speed for November, 2018 to 100 pages per minute. Significant reduction of cost value of prints became result, in general for November, 2018 economy made up to 50%. It was reached due to smaller energy consumption of inkjet multifunction devices, indiscriminateness to paper and an opportunity to use different types of carriers and also simpler and economic service of the equipment. Also it was succeeded to solve a problem of unpleasant smells at printing as the jet technology of printing does not assume heating.

Further "Alko-Polyus" intends to continue work with solutions of Epson and to equip with inkjet multifunction devices distribution centers in St. Petersburg and in Moscow, gradually taking an outdated laser technology out of service.
