Appointment in SafeNet

In June, 2012 the SafeNet company announced Sergey Kuznetsov's appointment to a position of the director of SafeNet in Russia and the CIS. The representative office opened in Moscow in 2002. But, as representatives of SafeNet specified TAdviser, the chief representative's position in Russia and the CIS is introduced in the company for the first time.

In the new position Sergey will be responsible for implementation of the opportunities opening in connection with increase in demand for these technologies and also for the actions aimed at business development by SafeNet in the region. "Sergey's appointment plays an important role in further expansion of presence of SafeNet company in Russia and the CIS, the region, promptly becoming one of our largest markets in EMEA", - Gary Clark, the vice president for sales and operating activities of SafeNet in EMEA region noted.

Work experience

Sergey is fluent in Russian and English and more than 20 years works in the IT industry, being the expert in the field of business development and management of relationship with the largest customers at the regional and international levels. He started the career from a position of the program analyst in the Central clinical hospital of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow, worked in Infromsvyaz, AT&T and also held executive positions in global corporations, such as Citrix Systems and Microsoft.

  • From 2004 to September, 2010 - the area director of Citrix Systems in Russia and the CIS countries

  • From October 1, 2010 to 2012 - the employee of Microsoft Rus on a position of Manufacturing Team Lead in department on work with big customers and partners who is responsible for sales in the industry (metals, sudo-, an avia - and mechanical engineering, the enterprises of the defense industry and a row dr).

Education

Sergey Kuznetsov graduated from Faculty of calculus mathematics and cybernetics of Moscow State University and also has MBA degree from business school of the University of Leeds (Great Britain).
