On December 4, 2018 Galaktika reported that PJSC Territorial Generating Company No. 2 (TGC-2) implements the project on certification and automation of maintenance and repair of the equipment based on the information system "Galaxy EAM". Within an implementation project the single system of planning and accounting of execution of works of a MRO in all regions of presence of the company will be implemented.
The project on system implementation of "Galaxy EAM" at TGC-2 enterprises covering all tasks of automation of maintenance and repair is calculated until the end of 2020. For December, 2018 certification – collecting of databases of the equipment and standards is carried out. Integration of reference books of "Galaktika EAM" with the system of normative reference information TGC-2 is already complete. One of partners of corporation – Galaktika of the Missile Defence LLC is engaged in project implementation.
"Galaktika EAM" allows to pass system implementation to modern control techniques on indicators of assessment of a condition of equipment on the basis of information technologies. It will allow to increase reliability of the equipment and to reduce costs on its service. "Galaktika EAM" allows the enterprises to prevent hardware failures, to increase performance and to reduce costs for the maintenance of production assets. Centralization and process optimization of maintenance and repair of the equipment is of great importance for the large companies with a distributed infrastructure.
