On December 5, 2016 the ALAN IT company announced the analysis of a SQL environment in TGC-2 LLC.
Project Tasks
TGC-2 made the decision on need to carry out load analysis of SQL servers and to receive the recommendations of specialists, with assistance of Microsoft, within the SAM Services program.
Attracted ALAN IT LLC to the project.
In 2014 TGC-2 already used services of SAM Services in the SAM Baseline project, in 2016 SAM SQL Workload is selected.

Project Progress
At the first stage specialists carried out the analysis of a configuration of the hardware of SQL servers.
The assessment of a configuration and performance of each copy of SQL servers is carried out.
The SQL infrastructure security level is checked.
The final stage of the project - license reconciliation which consequence optimization of use of the operating products SQL turned out to be.
Project Results
The recommendations prepared by experts ALAN IT became project deliverables. Recommendations are submitted on elimination of the risks connected with security on performance improvement of DBMS, economy of the place and to reduction in cost of storage of backup copies.
