Leaving from ITMIVT

As CNews knew, the director of Institute of exact mechanics and ADP equipment of S.A. Lebedev (ITMIVT) Sergey Kalin wrote the resignation letter from institute. This information was confirmed to CNews by Kalin. On its expectations, resignation will take place until the end of April, 2009. Sergey Kalin refused to comment on the resignation reasons. In April, 2009 Nikolay Ryzhov was appointed the CEO of "Open technologies", and Gizatullin held a post of the senior vice president. According to CNews, Sergey Kalin can hold a position of the president of the company in the nearest future again. Also CNews knows that it considers the offers connected with continuation of civil service.

"A situation with ITMIVT difficult, but the application Kalina is already signed", - CNews on the condition of anonymity the high-ranking official from Minpromtorg reported. The institute is subordinated to Department of the radio-electronic industry of this ministry. "In the radio electronics industry about 600 enterprises, and ITMIVT are not included even into number 100 of the largest. Therefore you should not attach to this event great value. It ordinary", - the interlocutor of CNews said.

On a post of the director of Institute of exact mechanics Sergey Kalin repeatedly supported his privatization. "It is necessary that there was a private investor who will be strategically interested in development of this type of business which will invest huge money, - he said in an interview of Echo of Moscow radio station in April, 2008 - We try to privatize it". According to the source CNews familiar with a situation in ITMIVT, filing of application about resignation turned out to be consequence of the fact that Minpromtorg "after long ordeals" refused to Sergey to Kalin privatization.

Earlier, before change of the Government of the Russian Federation in 2008, the institute was subordinated to the Federal agency on the industries (Rosprom). The deputy manager of Rosprom Yury Borisov (supervised the radio-electronic industry), according to the interlocutor of CNews, was not against privatization of institute. In July, 2008 Borisov was appointed the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade. "Support [Kalina] became less - finally failure in privatization happened at his [Borisov] tacit consent", - says a source of CNews. Contact Yury Borisov, being in a business trip, it was not possible.

"I did not notice activity on privatization ITMIVT, - the interlocutor in Minpromtorg says CNews. - Never Kalina on privatization of institute faced an initiative. Speak is one, and to submit papers necessary for this purpose is another". Meanwhile, CNews knows that management ITMIVT in 2007 began process of incorporating institute and the relevant documents are filed to Rosimushchestvo.

In addition, some other circumstances could lead Kalin to Sergey's resignation. According to CNews, the institute knocked down crisis when the main customer - the state - ceased to pay under contracts in time, and the federal state unitary enterprise could not take the credits. One more problem, according to the source CNews, became "half the lost tender for PVD-NP (biometric passports, - a comment of CNews) which strongly expected". The interlocutor of CNews in Minpromtorg considers that Sergey Kalin "placed not absolutely right accents on development of the enterprise".

Nevertheless, employees ITMIVT with which CNews was succeeded to have a talk characterize Sergey's activity Kalina positively. It should be noted that the average salary (at the end of 2007) at institute during its work grew to 34165 rub that brought ITMIVT to the first place on this indicator among the scientific organizations subordinated to Rosprom. Earlier Kalin said CNews that in ITMIVT "our colleagues who went to the foreign companies (Intel, Sun) actively began to return the young engineers who worked on foreign vendors, such as Cadence, Lucent, Virage Logic, etc. come". Success secret, according to him, was in approach to commercialization of applied developments of institute: "Based on the conducted researches and projects made to order we develop standard solutions which we sell already with bigger profit".
