Prerequisites of the Project

Due to continuous market development of services of distribution and increase in order amounts and the number of clients, the Engin LTD. company made the decision on implementation of the cloud software solution ABM Rinkai TMS.

Project Objectives

  • Flexibility of a system in respect of adaptation to the existing business processes;
  • Need for automation of planning process of routes;
  • Reducing costs for delivery;
  • Increase in efficiency of use of motor transport;
  • Need for the analytical reporting;
  • Plan-fact control of accomplishment of routes.

ABM Rinkai choice reasons

  • Planning of routes for own or/and hired transport at any number of cars.
  • Work planning of a warehouse on loading of cars in the necessary sequence.
  • Formation of route sheets for printing, loadings in mobile application, unloadings in the accounting system.
  • Sending notifications to clients about the planned arrival time of the car.
  • Analytics on outlets, orders, cars. Display economically not of advantage grounds. The analysis "that-if" on violation of the set restrictions.
  • The plan-fact analysis with detailing on accomplishment of the plan and all deviations both on movement, and on time.
  • Accounting of temporary windows for delivery, types and compatibility of goods, loading of cars taking into account both delivery, and return.
  • Accounting of different options of costs for cars (in day, on km, per hour, on a point, etc.).
  • Management of a high-speed factor (existence of traffic jams, weather conditions).
  • Mobile application for drivers with the electronic route sheet, navigation, feedback coupling.

Project Progress

During an implementation project of the software of ABM Rinkai TMS the following tasks were carried out:

  1. coordinates of all points of delivery Are specified.
  2. integration through web services with the accounting system of the Customer Is configured that provides operational loading of orders in the Rinkai system and unloading of routes back in the accounting system.
  3. integration into the tracking GPS system Is configured.
  4. the card under the Customer Is updated.
  5. It is started main a warehouse in Baku.
  6. user training on work in a system Is provided.
  7. daily collaborative planning of routes for the first month Is organized.
  8. After the main warehouse 6 regional warehouses are started.
  9. corrections Are made to business processes of the company.
  10. Use of the route sheet ABM Rinkai TMS for the driver.
  11. Calculation of time for unloading at the client is made separately for each of delivery points proceeding from statistics and specifics of a point.
  12. the help upon transition to the implemented accounting system Is rendered.
  13. Pro-active technical support.
  14. the monthly reporting Is provided.


The company had opportunities:

  • Plan-fact analysis of routes: an opportunity to trace the fact of journey of the driver and to analyze deviations from a planned route;
  • Possibility of setup of time for unloading at each of clients depending on weight and dimensional characteristics of goods and type of a point of delivery;
  • Accounting of temporary windows of clients, i.e. operating time of the client, lunch break, opportunity to set specific time when it is necessary to come to the client;
  • Reporting: active and passive clients, delivery cost, total amount of orders, the visited visited clients, delay, etc.
  • Use of mobile application of Rinkai Routing as electronic route sheet and navigator for drivers for observance of an order of journey.

Project Results

In a project deliverable of software implementation of ABM Rinkai TMS in ENGİN LTD company time for planning of routes by 4 times is reduced, process of creation of routes is automated, planning process happens to small manual adjustments in connection with the existing set business processes, control of observance of a route is exercised, the quality of service of provision of services as the route is under construction with a journey order taking into account the delivery time of products approved with each of clients is improved.

  • At growth of number of the active customer base by 25% and growth of volume of the exported products by 25% since launch of the ABM Rinkai TMS system, the necessary quantity of a car for delivery of orders increased by only 14%.
  • The average quantity of points, razvozimy one car increased by 13%.
  • Average loading on the volume of machines increased by 13%.
  • Reduction of rerun due to observance of a planned route for 14% (for launch was – 21.8%, became – 7.6%).
