On December 13, 2018 the Softline company reported that the Zenit bank transferred corporate mail to a cloud of Office 365.

According to the company, the Zenit bank used the solution based on IBM Domino for creation of a corporate mail system and document flow which ceased to answer business challenges over time.

Digital transformation imposes requirements to the organization of workflows. Corporate communication should be fast, convenient, reliable. It increases the speed of acceptance of management decisions and helps to provide the best services to our clients. Therefore the decision on transition to the cloud Exchange Online mail and a packet of Microsoft Office 365 services was made. We asked for the help Softline company.

In cloud solutions the bank was attracted by an opportunity for December, 2018 to provide all employees with necessary corporate applications on the terms of a monthly subscription. Specialists of Softline should transfer bank to a mail system taking into account corporate security requirements, an inner pattern of the Active Directory, existence of mail archives and need of ensuring continuity of business processes during migration. And as the bank was going to use except Exchange Online and other Microsoft Office applications 365, it was necessary to consider it at creation of hybrid infrastructure of authentication and authorization of users.

Engineers of Softline together with IT specialists of Zenit bank carried out migration for December, 2018 over 2.5 thousand users to Office 365. The command of Softline created and transferred to IT service of the customer all necessary tools for independent migration of the ciphered mail data and confidential materials to a cloud and also mails of the staff of banking group who did not enter the first stage of the project.

Transition to use of Exchange Online simplified daily work of employees of the bank, having given them an opportunity to use any access facilities to the mailbox. At the same time the broad spectrum of management tools and security of Office 365 provides to Information Security Service of bank for December, 2018 many opportunities for monitoring and access rights restriction depending on a position, the used device, a physical location and other.

For December, 2018, according to specialists of bank, transition to use of cloud services of Microsoft, in addition to optimization of work of users, will allow to lower daily load of IT service, having released its resources for the next projects and also will cut down expenses on purchase and the maintenance of the server hardware.

Having passed to cloud services, the customer made expenses on development of IT infrastructure predicted. For December, 2018 the bank has best tools for scaling of business and base for implementation of technologies for performance improvement of work of personnel.
