"And + About Transproyekt" delivered software for development of national transport model of Russia

On December 17, 2018 the And + About Transproyekt company reported that it delivered four settlement modules of the PTV Visum software product in Federal State Institution "Rostransmodernization". According to the company, for December, 2018 possibilities of each module allow to work with network on three thousand transport areas, to configure traffic conditions of flows in transport hubs, to manage the public transport schedule for assessment of perspective demand for transport.

Software it will be used for calculations when modeling flows in it is information-analytical the system of regulation on transport ACS (shopping mall). The transport models created in software environment of PTV Visum calculate the forecast of traffic, passenger and cargo flows that allows to estimate effect of implementation of any proposed solutions: constructions outcomes, expansion of the carriageway, introduction of the next routes.

For December, 2018 using national transport model it is possible to estimate the current and forecast demand for freight and passenger traffic, to reveal "bottlenecks" on the transport network, to show social and economic effects of development of transport infrastructure. Software products which were delivered to us by And + About Transproyekt company will be used for work on national multimodal transport model, within implementation of a functional problem of an ACS of shopping Mall Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation "Modeling of traffic flows". As one of the ACS elements of shopping mall the national transport model created by And + About Transproyekt company within the project including, using PTV technologies, will become the driver for emergence in Russia of the system of transport planning for digital economy. The model will be able to connect traffic flows of agglomerations, regions and the whole country.

Transport modeling for December, 2018 solves problems of state planning, doing the transport system in the cities logical, managed, convenient and safe for inhabitants. Software tools which we delivered in Rostransmodernization allow to create mathematical transport models – they help transport engineers to estimate efficiency of development of the transport systems of the cities, regions and countries.
