2018: The announcement of Lenovo Z5 Pro GT - the first-ever smartphone from 12 Gbytes of RAM
On December 18, 2018 Lenovo provided as the company claims, the first-ever smartphone from 12 Gbytes of RAM. Besides, according to the producer, for the first time in the commercial market of smartphones the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor began to be used.
This single-crystal system received eight computing cores with clock rate to 2.84 GHz, the graphic Adreno 640 block and the Snapdragon X24 LTE modem with a possibility of data transmission at a speed up to 2 Gbps.
In addition to 12 Gbytes, Lenovo Z5 Pro GT will be on sale in versions with OZU with a capacity of 6 and 8 Gbytes. Capacity built in a flash drive is 128 or 512 Gbytes.
The display of the device has the 6.39-inch diagonal, Super AMOLED matrix, resolution capability 2340 x 1080 pixels, an aspect ratio 19.5:9 and an ultrathin framework (only 2.07 mm). The screen occupies 95.06% of the space of a front surface of a tube.
In an upper part of the smartphone the sliding block containing the double camera on the basis of sensors from 16 million and 8 million pixels is installed. Identification of users on the person and also on fingerprints is supported (the finger scanner is built in the display). The double camera is behind also mounted: it integrates modules from 24 million and 16 million pixels.[1]
Dimensions of a product make 155.12 x 73.04 x 9.3 mm, weight of-210 grams. The tube eats from the rechargeable battery with a capacity of 3350 mAh with support of fast charging, has the advanced speaker system with support of Dolby Atmos technology and a standard set of wireless communications (4G of VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5 GPS, GLONASS NFC i).
Lenovo Z5 Pro GT from 6 Gbytes of operational and 128 Gbytes of a fixed memory will cost the Chinese buyers 2698 yuans (about 26 thousand rubles), and the version from 12 Gbytes of OZU – 4398 yuans (42,500 rubles). Sales of the smartphone in China will begin on January 24, 2019. Terms of its emergence in the Russian market it is not announced.
