Bridgestone selects Dassault Systèmes for expansion of the program of "smart factories"

On December 24, 2018 the Dassault Systèmes company announced support of Bridgestone of EMEA in program implementation of "smart factories" which will allow the enterprise to optimize work of the plants due to digital transformation of production planning of buses and maintaining projects across the whole Europe.

Bridgestone of EMEA will use the DELMIA Apriso and QUINTIQ applications based on platform 3DEXPERIENCE for management of the production operations, production planning and optimization of work of eight production sites in Europe. All intelligent connected systems of the enterprise, including thousands of units of a production equipment, the device and sensors and also the staff of Bridgestone will be synchronized with each other by means of a virtual environment which will be a uniform source of up-to-date data about production and maintenance of the equipment. Thus, Bridgestone of EMEA will be able to reduce a planning cycle from several weeks to several days, to increase use of production assets and quickly to react to any unplanned situations in production, using for this purpose single integrated solution.
