"The multifunction center of the Kaliningrad region" adopts Solar Dozor

On December 26, 2018 the Rostelecom-Solar company reported that it completed a pilot project and started system implementation of confidential information protection and control of communications of staff of Solar Dozor in GKU "Multifunction Center of the Kaliningrad Region".

According to the company, for implementation of the activity of MFC interact with the bodies rendering the public or municipal services via numerous electronic communication channels. In information systems of MFC it is processed and a large number of the documents intended only for internal use is kept. Within expansion of set of the applied methods of data protection of limited access GKU "Multifunction Center of the Kaliningrad Region" made the decision on need of system implementation of protection against leaks.

At a stage of the choice of a DLP system the Multifunction center of the Kaliningrad region considered all key solutions of this class presented at the domestic market. As a result the organization stopped the choice on the system of protection Solar Dozor providing broad control of all channels of communication which internal violators can use.

Ensuring comprehensive control of communications of employees and their actions with confidential information was the major project task. Besides, as within providing electronic state services our organization actively uses electronic communication channels with citizens and also other state structures, we need to trace constantly information flows of MFC – both internal, and sent to the external environment. Solar Dozor completely solved these problems. In the course of a pilot project a DLP system showed efficiency of identification of internal violators and helped to increase effectiveness of work of division of information security. At the first stage the Multifunction center of the Kaliningrad region is going to implement the basic functionality of Solar Dozor consisting of monitoring, interception and blocking of communication channels of the user at the workstation and also audit of local and network file resources regarding open storage of confidential data. Further the customer is going to expand the project due to implementation of add-on modules of investigation of incidents of information security.
