The first KT-scanner of Philips of the Russian assembly is installed

On January 18, 2019 it became known of the beginning of commercial operation of the first KT-scanner of Philips of the Russian assembly. It is set and started in the Saratov city clinical hospital No. 9. The device under the name Philips Ingenuity CT is assembled at the Rentgenprom Ltd enterprise in the Moscow region.

The 128-slice computer Philips Ingenuity CT tomograph has iDose and iPatient technologies, allowing to use the equipment for a big range of researches and providing exact result of diagnostics already at the first scanning and at low beam loading.

The chief physician of the Saratov city clinical hospital No. 9 Oleg Kostin reported that implementation of Philips Ingenuity CT optimizes work of clinic and will allow specialists to make from the first the exact diagnosis and to quickly appoint treatment.

Philips makes the ultrasonic equipment and KT-systems in Moscow area which conform to the uniform quality standards of the company applied around the world. Supply of equipment is performed through partners of the company and also directly through Philips LLC in the public and private medical institutions.

According to the area director of medical visualization of Philips in Russia and the CIS Mikhail Goncharov, in 2018 the company made and delivered in the Russian clinics several tens of localized devices for ultrasonic diagnostics, and by the beginning of the 2019th production was expanded and assembly of computer tomographs is started.
