Line of L100 headsets and expansion of support Broadsoft UC
On January 24, 2019 the Avaya company announced expansion of a line of smart devices in a portfolio of Avaya Desktop Experience, including a line of professional headsets and also expanded support of functionality of Broadsoft UC, replenishment of a line of Essential Experience the J100 Series phones and availability of Device Enrollment Service 2.0 service.
The portfolio of headsets of professional class L100 initially includes five wire devices, wireless models, according to the producer, will appear in the near future. In Avaya headsets the AcousticEdge technology which provides high quality of sound transmission is used. Devices also have ergonomics, allowing to avoid discomfort at long-term use. These headsets are created for operators of contact centers; they are equipped with function of fast shutdown and also provide a possibility of inclusion of the supervisor, emphasized in Avaya.
From the moment of expansion of the portfolio of intelligent Open SIP devices in November, 2018, Avaya company expanded functionality of a line of devices for business of Essential Experience J100 Series, having implemented at the same time and support of the Broadsoft UC functions thanks to what service providers of unified communications of UCaaS will be able to use in large quantities the products Avaya Open SIP for implementation of UCaaS-projects.
Also Avaya provided expansion unit of Essential Experience J100 with the full-color screen of high resolution which is connected to the Essential Experience J169 or J179 IP phones. According to the statement of the producer, this module can be used by the staff of service of administration or office management for ensuring full control of work of active lines and also maintains architecture of Avaya SIP, H.323 and Open SIP. In addition, the company announced that the Essential Experience J179 IP phone got support of Bluetooth.
Also in January, 2019 the Avaya company submitted the version of Avaya Device Enrollment Service (DES) 2.0 service which accelerates process of automatic adjustment of parameters when installing devices. Among the appeared opportunities — support of 14 interface languages, the simplified configuration, enhanced capabilities of work with notifications and data transmission and also advanced security settings. The Avaya DES service was created under a specific objective — minimization of cost of deployment of devices that helps large service providers to scale quicker the cloud business, noted in Avaya.

Replenishment of a line open SIP devices
On December 18, 2019 Avaya provided open SIP devices within the line to Avaya Desktop Experience thanks to which suppliers of unified communications as services (Unified Communications as a Service, UCaaS) will be able to expand the user experience in offices of the companies, using for this purpose any comfortable platform of unified communications for the maximum simplicity and profitability.
According to the company, for January, 2019 employees use different devices and applications for work. To provide them a full support, suppliers of UCaaS-solutions should have in the arsenal smart devices using which users could provide and personalize the communications and which would provide convenient access to corporate services where they would not be.
The expanded Avaya Desktop Experience portfolio includes additional Avaya Vantage devices, devices for conference communication, a complete portfolio of the J100 Series IP Phone IP phones and also devices for hotel business, wireless telephones and headsets that allows service providers to expand the offer in scales of all existing cloud infrastructure of unified communications.
The market of open SIP devices continues to grow from year to year that is promoted by implementation of the increasing number of the projects on implementation and updating of communication infrastructure unrolled as locally, in DPC of the client, and on cloud model.
