On January 21, 2018 the company "And + About Transproyekt" announced delivery in Public edge institution "Center of Traffic Safety of Perm Krai" (TsBDD of Perm Krai) software packages PTV Vissim and PTV Visum. Technologies will be used for modeling transport of flows and optimization of signal plans of traffic light objects.

The transport models created by means of the PTV Visum program help to calculate the forecast of passenger, traffic, cargo flows and to estimate effect of implementation of proposed solutions: constructions of outcomes, expansions of the carriageway, introduction of new routes.
PTV Vissim implements the principles of simulation modeling at the microlevel, continuously modeling in the simulation mode the movement of each car within a road network taking into account the set behavioral models. Thanks to the solution it is possible to model networks with different node types and to estimate influence of various forms of intersections on capacity of roads, to carry out the analysis of capacity and transport regulation at difficult stops taking into account the movement of trams and buses.
