Creation of the high-loaded platform for the project on career guidance of school students

On February 20, 2019 the Jet Infosystems company reported that it built the high-loaded platform for the project on career guidance of school students — "The ticket in the future". The solution is expected simultaneous operation to 1 million users. Based on two pilot starts which covered 45 regions of Russia, more than 250 thousand participants of the educational movement used the portal for February, 2019. The portal works based on virtual DPC (VTsOD) Jet Infosystems and conforms to requirements for information security.

According to the company, The Ticket in the Future project is initiated by the Russian President Vladimir Putin in 2018 for the purpose of early career guidance of pupils of 6-11 classes. As the operator of the project the Union "Young professionals (Vorldskills Russia)" acts. In 2 months on the platform of "The ticket in the future" 250 thousand school students from 45 regions of Russia were registered.

The created software platform of the portal supports a role model with different functionality for four types of users: participants, regional coordinators, schools and mentors (experts in professions). Also the portal includes a matrix of competences within which school students pass tests and select specialty on which there will take place professional tests at themselves in the region. Results of professional test are displayed in a personal account on the platform of "The ticket in the future", and the school student receives recommendations about studying of programs of additional education in the region.

Important part of The Ticket in the Future project is preserving of a digital trace of pupils regarding proydyonny tests and the received recommendations that they could rely on this information at choice of profession. The uniform electronic portal gives equal opportunities for professional self-determination of pupils both in the large cities, and in the most remote villages. Having passed specialized test on the portal of the project, the school student has an opportunity to take part in internal professional tests and to perform a practical task under the leadership of the mentor in such spheres as service and tourism, agriculture and environmental management, health, space and engineering, transport and logistics, etc. Mechanisms of testing and assessment of results are created in close interaction of a project team Jet Infosystems and experts-methodologists of the Union "Young professionals (Vorldskills Russia)".

The created solution is not only the tool which gives the chance to hundreds of thousands of school students to pass tests and to participate in actions of The Ticket in the Future project. The next step — integration with an ecosystem of the National Technology Initiative which will give the chance of WorldSkills Russia together with partners in a complex to analyze achievements and results of children and to offer them the best trajectories of professional development. The solution is implemented based on open standards (Open Source) that allows to finish it in need of changes in the program of career guidance. Development was conducted by iterations taking into account the arising business requirements and the user experience — according to practicians of continuous integration and delivery of the application software (Continuous integration/continuous delivery — CI/CD).

Providing the cloud portal for testing of school students for digital literacy

On January 24, 2019 the Jet Infosystems company reported that it provided to the Union "Young professionals (Vorldskills Russia)" the cloud portal of own development for conducting testing of school students for digital literacy. The portal provided testing about 120 thousand school students from 6 pilot regions of the country. Tests included tasks from area of a digital security, technical digital literacy and digital consumption.

The software platform is developed by integrator based on open source solutions that allows to use it including within digital initiatives of a public sector. The implemented solution supports a role model that gives the chance to differentiate functionality for users of different categories (pupils, representatives of educational institutions, executive authorities, sponsors, etc.). The platform uses instruments of processing of visual and text information, allows to perform verification of collected answers and depending on results to make personal recommendations about development of these or those skills.

The portal is implemented in a failsafe configuration and completely conforms to requirements for information security support. High performance of the solution allows to ensure simultaneous operation to 1 million users.

The portal solution developed by us represents a convenient modern recommendatory system that can become an additional incentive for youth in development of professional skills. And this solution with identical success can be used in projects of both a public sector, and the commercial organizations because tasks of accumulation and data view at all are approximately identical to the subsequent analytics.
