Jet Infosystems: Virtual Data Processing Center (VDPC)

The Jet Infosystems company brought in November, 2013 into commercial operation the commercial virtual data processing center (VDPC). The data center allows to solve such problems as placement of productive or standby systems, development environments and testing, creation of the remote platform for storage of backup and archive copies of data, placement of reserve DPC and also selection of temporary resources under projects. For today in data center information systems of 3 large companies and also own center of integrator for operational monitoring and information security incident management are already placed (Security Operations Center, SOC). More than 10 projects are in a piloting stage.

VTsOD offers the companies IT infrastructure of the corporate level based on which it is possible to implement the complete solution for a specific objective. Are a part of service: works on operational planning and deployment of virtual IT infrastructure; providing in lease of computing powers and necessary licenses; the organization of backup, recovery and access to resources of DPC through allocate circuit (or VPN on the Internet); monitoring of availability of infrastructure in mode 24x7 and also administration of all resources which are in DPC. Key feature of service is an opportunity to receive resources quickly and for required term, and in case of need to change the sizes of "the virtual room" – to reduce or increase it. VTsOD is serviced by the separate project team including group of design, department of operation and preseyl-consultants.

IT infrastructure of VTsOD is constructed on the equipment of the leading world vendors among which HP, Cisco, Oracle, IBM and NetApp, and is placed in commercial data center. Engineering infrastructure of DPC conforms to requirements of reliability of Tier 3, in particular, uses 2 independent inputs of power supply, provides duplication of all critical systems and also repair and prevention of the engineering systems without interruption in service. At all levels of infrastructure technologies of high availability (HA) are used that provides readiness of VTsOD at the level of 99.8%.

Safety of data center is ensured as physically (access control, the selected fenced area), and technology: modern complexes of organizational and technical measures provide reliable data protection from internal and external threats.
