European Bearing Corporation equipped meeting rooms with the systems of a video conferencing

On February 6, 2019 system integrator "High tech" announced project completion on equipment of meeting rooms European Bearing Corporation (EBC) systems for carrying out video conferences.

By the time of the beginning of works, in EPK group the uniform standard of telephony integrating five enterprises in a single network based on Skype for Business technology was implemented. Ensuring holding sessions of a video conferencing from negotiation and conference rooms using the available solution was a project objective. The big size and a non-standard configuration of premises, special wishes of the customer caused a difficult combination of requirements to functionality negotiation under which standard solutions did not approach.

Engineers of Haytek carried out comprehensive technical expertize of all premises for negotiation of EPK company and developed individual solutions for each of them. During the project meeting rooms were equipped a large number of the multimedia systems and the equipment of a video conferencing of different producers. So, for example, in each premises about two display systems on the basis of professional LED panels of Philips were set, for transfer of a conference to Skype for Business at the same time the equipment Epiphan was used. Also negotiation were equipped with cameras and Avaya video codecs, the congress systems of Shure/Dis, microphone panels of Sennheiser and sound mixing desks of Biamp. For convenience of management of all components of the VKS platform, specialists of Haytek installed the Crestron system. Experts of integrator provided also the scenario of work of meeting rooms irrespective of the solution Skype for Business: for this purpose in an IT landscape of the enterprise a system multipoint Avaya Equinox video conferences was implemented. VKS of Avaya is unrolled on the Avaya Aura platform that allows the customer to increase further infrastructure of unified communications and provides SIP telephony implementation. All switching at upgrade of meeting rooms was made using the equipment Extron and Opticis.

According to the results of the project of 8 meeting rooms of EPK holding were equipped with the equipment and the software allowing to use the different systems of a video conferencing. The number of participants in one negotiation can reach 50 people, at the same time the complete functionality of negotiation is available to each participant. Several scenarios of work allowing to transfer content from different sources, to appoint the administrator, to implement functionality of guidance of the camera on speaking and when clicking the button on the microphone were developed and implemented.

"This project was rather difficult in implementation both in terms of logistics, and from the point of view of applied technologies. "Boxed" solutions of vendors did not meet our requirements of providing a reliable communication with functionality of unified communications on multivendor infrastructure with preserving of already performed investments and a possibility of its further scaling. Experience and examination of Haytek, readiness to look for and create non-standard solutions allowed to implement all requests shown to equipment of negotiation premises of large manufacturing enterprise".
