Salekhard airport

JSC Salekhard Airport is the airport of federal importance in the district center of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area of Russia located in 7 km to the north from Salekhard. It is the civil airfield servicing passenger liners of the average size. For February, 2019 the airport has one runway and helicopter aerodrome. Also it is used as abnormal airfield for the liners performing commercial flights.

2020: 2 billion rubles will spend for reconstruction of the airport of Salekhard

The government of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area posted documentation on the official site of state procurements on holding the auction on reconstruction of the airport complex in Salekhard. The initial cost of the government contract - 2 billion rubles, reports the Aviation Explorer edition.

The contractor should perform works on preparation of the project documentation and engineering researches and also construction and commissioning of an object, the airport complex of the city of Salekhard.

The project documentation should be prepared in October, 2020. Reconstruction should come to the end in September, 2023. To this term it is necessary to build the building of zones of an arrival, zone of an arrival/departure of the increased comfort, transitional galleries with two telescopic ladders. Also the existing building of the airport and the light-signal equipment will be reconstructed and improvement of Privokzalnaya Square is carried out.

As a result of reconstruction capacity of the airport will grow from 120 passengers per hour to 200 passengers per hour.
