Time of high speeds and technologies, not just masterings, and use as much as possible of the innovation productions came to the Arctic. In questions of providing the population and the enterprises of the region with mobile communication and telecommunication services we considerably promoted. Though it was and is difficult. Problem of high-quality development of a communications infrastructure and liquidation of digital inequality still one of main. It is possible to solve it only in competitive environment. The MTS company increases the level of presence in the Arctic region every year, upgrades networks. Thanks to investments it was succeeded to improve communication quality and Internet services in the majority of localities of the district, including the remote field camps of large-scale oil and gas deposits, important for us. In three last years, within the previous Agreement, MTS carried out large-scale work on improvement of communication quality and home services in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area. Now we have not less ambitious plans for development of network, including in the territory of the Subpolar Urals in the conditions of permafrost — on the Yamal Peninsula, in particular, in villages the Cape Stone and New port on the coast of Gulf of Ob and also Yar-Sal and others. Besides, we are going to expand geography of providing services 4G and to increase access rate in network and also the "house" fixed services — at the expense of an entry in Salekhard, Nadym, Tarko-Sal and Gubkinsky. It is sure that agreement signature with the Government of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area will promote achievement of our common goals — to increase in availability of the innovation services to the population and active development of telecommunication infrastructure of the region in general.
