On February 12, 2019 the VOCORD company reported that the complex of photovideo fixing of violations of traffic regulations VOCORD MicroCyclops passed tests with alternative power sources in extreme weather conditions. Tests were organized by GKU "Managements of Highways of the Sakha (Yakutia) Republic" and came to the end in January, 2019. By their results the VOCORD MicroCyclops complexes showed full-time job at a power supply from solar batteries.
According to information digging, for the purpose of cost reduction and preserving of environmental safety of the environment in the Sakha (Yakutia) Republic the innovative technologies are implemented. In the region there are no strong winds that excludes a possibility of use of wind generators. At the same time, the number of sunny days same, as in Krasnodar Krai. For tests as the alternative power source of the systems of photovideo fixing solar batteries were selected.
VOCORD MicroCyclops has low power consumption. It allows to use control systems independently, without connection to the power transmission line. The accumulator for a power supply at night, the module of wireless data transmission and local archive is a part of a complex. Installation of complexes of photovideo fixing of violations of traffic regulations VOCORD MicroCyclops is possible at any remote boundaries of control.
VOCORD MicroCyclops is mounted on a column and controls up to 4 lanes. Compact construction provides simple and convenient installation. The camera of recognition of numbers, the built-in calculator and the communication module for wireless transmission of data on violations in the Data processing center is a part of a complex.
The complex is developed taking into account requirements of operation at temperatures below -40 °C. Has the hermetic package for work in the conditions of the increased humidity. A power supply of installation is performed from solar batteries.
