According to information for June, 2018 the compact multiband complex of control of traffic Vocord MicroCyclops from Vokord company – the resident of Skolkovo Foundation - is intended for automatic recognition of numbers of vehicles, measurement of speed and provision of the movement, photofixing of traffic offenses (traffic regulations) as a part of Vocord Traffic hardware-software complex.
Vocord MicroCyclops is the compact solution for control of traffic flow at intersections and railway crossings. The device includes the integrated video camera Vocord NetCam with completely managed lens, built in the camera GLONASS/ GPS- the receiver, a pulse infra-red searchlight. The multi-purpose radar velocity meter (radar) installed on the body can be connected to a product.
All data processing, recognition of numbers and fixing of violations is performed directly in the camera on the powerful modern Nvidia Jetson processor. Thus, operation of the device requires no external servers.
Distinctive features of Vocord MicroCyclops are the low power consumption and small requirements to data transmission channels. Thanks to it the complex can work in completely standalone mode with power supply from solar batteries and with data transmission on wireless communication links (3G/4G). The small weight and dimensions provide simplicity and convenience of installation.
The complex controls to 4 lanes in two directions. Vocord MicroCyclops fixes all vehicles (V) crossing a control boundary, automatically determines speed, at the same time the measurement error makes no more than 2 km/h.
