IT infrastructure of Perm was upgraded using the hyper convergent platform Scala-R

On February 07, 2019 the IBS company reported that the hardware and software system Scala-R is used for virtualization of computing resources and data storage in Perm. For February, 2019 the complex is in productive work. The Softline group became the winner of an open competition on its delivery.

Advantages of systems Scala-R in such projects:

Case of work of the service center IBS Interlab: at the initial stage of work there were spontaneous resets of a complex once a month at night. Specialists in technical support of IBS Interlab carried out complete diagnostics of program and hardware parts of a complex, contained and solved this problem. As it became clear, the problem was caused by specifics of setup of a complex Scala-R in the minimum hardware configuration.

For the period of diagnostics and work on elimination of a problem the IBS Interlab command provided the additional server to provide the guaranteed fault tolerance of a complex — thus, work of key services of the city did not suffer.
