CLAAS company was founded in 1913 as family company, and is one of producers of agricultural machinery. 2019: When using the electronic EASY systems cost value of wheat can be reduced by 13%
The CLAAS company based on a farm in Lower Saxony (Germany) tested on implementation of the electronic EASY systems and counted expenses during the entire period of cultivation of wheat. Use of the products EASY by the German agrarian company, such as automatic system of steering, technology of mapping of productivity and the differentiated application of fertilizers, a monitoring system behind machines and documentation of works of TELEMATICS, in total helped to reduce the general cost value of wheat by 13%: from 1395.47 euros/hectare to 1213.97 euros/hectare (from 109 thousand rub/hectare to 94.7 thousand rub/hectare).
The cycle of agricultural works began in March when sowing of wheat by the AXION tractor was in the field carried out. Till June application of fertilizers and the means of protecting of plants (MPP) was several times performed. Harvesting was carried out in the first of August by the TUCANO combine harvester. According to the results of in a cost structure of 39% it was the share of the expenses connected with introduction of SZR – 478.55 euros/hectare, another 20% – fertilizers (239.13 euros/hectare). At the same time the most considerable indicator of economy – 24.4% – was reached on the most expensive component – introduction of SZR. Use of fertilizers was reduced by 15%.
Allows optimize scattering of fertilizers and spraying technology of mapping of productivity of crops. On the basis of the data which are earlier obtained when harvesting in the subsequent the differentiated application of fertilizers and SZR is carried out. Positive economic effect is provided at once by several electronic systems: counters of the processed area and also a harvest – QUANTIMETER, GPS PILOT navigation equipment, mobile systems of data transmission and software tools of TELEMATICS which integrate the data collected from several machines. As a result on each specific site of a field optimal doses of the substances affecting productivity are entered, oversaturation of the soil is excluded by fertilizers and SZR.
From 3 to 5% of expenses during tests of the electronic EASY systems were saved on soil-cultivating and sowing works and also when harvesting. In particular, monitoring systems allowed to organize and coordinate better work of the equipment, having reduced time of idle times of TUCANO combine harvesters for 5%. Due to decrease in overlappings using the adjusting signals GPS/GLONASS with an accuracy up to 2-3 cm, consumption of fuel and lubricants decreased by 3%, the general operating time of the equipment and wear of operating parts decreased.

- In 2003 production of combine harvesters in Russia was begun. The plant in Krasnodar makes seven models of combine harvesters and eight models of tractors.
- In 2015 the second queue of the plant is open. Sale of the equipment is organized through the sales company KLAAS VOSTOK LLC in Moscow with the assistance of 19 partners in sale who work across all territory of Russia.
