Alexey Bakirey headed the Postal Logistics Company LLC (PLC), a subsidiary of the Russian Post. The company announced this on August 11, 2022. Its main tasks were the organization of end-to-end supply chains and the development of new logistics technologies.

Under the leadership of Alexei, PLC will develop comprehensive services based on the Post Office infrastructure. In addition, the company will create a single digital platform that will combine logistics products and existing IT Mail systems. All these changes will allow PLC to bring to the market multimodal products for the delivery of large-sized mail, consumer goods, and SME cargoes.

Optimization of logistics processes, integration IT systems, as well as containerization of mail will help to expand the geography of mail delivery Russia and increase the volume of transportation.
