2019: Announcement of the EcoScreen Equipment Analytics program
On February 19, 2019 the Dürr company submitted the EcoScreen Equipment Analytics program which provides complete transparency and high extent of process automation in painting workshops. The presented solution for technology of industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) analyzes operation of robotic devices and allows to reveal and fix problems quickly. Technology feature is the application of processing and data analysis for interactive data analysis.
What occurs in a bathtub for coloring and in what status there is a technology? According to the developer, answers to these questions are given by EcoScreen Equipment Analytics. This program registers and analyzes all signals arriving from the sensors which are built in modules of painting Dürr robots. So, for example, the sensor of the front manipulator of the robot in real time issues data from pressure adjusters, the dosing pumps and valves of paint. The main needle valves, speed sensors of the turbine and the directing air flow and also air heaters of the electrostatic rotating sprayers are connected to the data recorder. Besides, the program registers values of temperature and the rotary moments for separate working axes of painting and handling robots. In addition, for registration of provision of bodies in painting boxing, data collection, arriving from pipeline technology is separately conducted. This information is compared to data of process in bathtubs for coloring, such as start time and ends of coloring taking into account type and color of a body. The program conducts collecting and data analysis about errors and warnings in the course of coloring.
Data visualization – a way to transparency
The IIoT technology assumes both data visualization and results of their analysis.
"Using the module Visual Analytics we can trace precisely data for several weeks with the millisecond permission. So detailed information allows to reveal and fix problems quickly. Cross comparison of these robots increases efficiency of the analysis and allows the operator of installation to increase technical readiness of installation, to optimize the sequence of accomplishment of process and to improve work indicators from the first run". It also creates "transparency". For example, data of the dosing pump, expense/pressure sensors in regulators and also needle valves of sprayers are synchronously displayed on the managing computer that allows to define correlations. The program displays all data of production processes, trajectories of the movement of robots and provision of bodies in a three-dimensional type. As a result, the operator sees a deviation of process parameters from preset. Thanks to imposing of a curve of signals the EcoScreen Equipment Analytics program compares bodies on type and color". Algorithms calculate an optimal status of paint and display anomalies
As reported in Dürr, the Streaming Analytics add-on module analyzes data in real time. Using special algorithms, according to collected data he calculates the circuits and correlations corresponding to an optimal status of paint. It allows to reveal automatically even the minimum anomalies as coloring and the process course. Therefore the personnel can immediately define a reason for rejection and perform the necessary operations on service still before the body leaves the painting camera. The EcoScreen Equipment Analytics program uses the software of IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) of the ADAMOS platform for function of the interactive analysis. The Dürr company manages the ADAMOS platform together with Software AG and some other engineering companies.
Monitoring of installation on the basis of model
The module "Streaming Analytics" provides to the operator the simple graphical interfaces in use which are not requiring experience in programming for creation of models of the analysis. For this purpose the Dürr company developed the editor of models whose list for convenience of the user includes library of models of the analysis. New models can be created on the basis of a combination already existing (for example, model of monitoring of pressure of paint when coloring). Data are displayed on the screen in a graphic type, and the operator can be convinced that all values are in tolerable limits. Using the module "Streaming Analytics" the experienced specialist in characteristics of a curve of a signal can create analysis model which automatically determines such anomalies as, for example, vials of air in paint. All this does the module "Streaming Analytics" by the effective tool as the program automates processes of operators of installation and adds to their experience by means of the analysis online, the developer claims.
Integration of machine learning in the future
"Along with the module Streaming Analytics the Dürr company develops other modules for package analytics working at a basis of artificial neural networks. Our program in the automatic mode learns to define optimal conditions of accomplishment of processes and to register each deviation. It means that in the future the program will solve problems independently by means of machine learning. If the module of self-training defines trends, all problems with the equipment can be identified in advance. The module can make even the forecast of time of emergence of an event".
