At Borg El Arab's airport of the city of Alexandria automated management of air traffic

On February 21, 2019 Rostec reported that together with subsidiary company of State corporation - JSC Aeronavigatsionnye i informatsionnye sistemy (JSC AIS) - put into operation the automated complex of air traffic control at Borg El Arab's airport of the city of Alexandria of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Implementation of the automated complex will allow to increase flight safety, to increase capacity of an airfield complex and to improve operational interaction with airport services and operations control rooms of flights.

In a complex the modern technical means, the operating system and application softwares meeting all international requirements and containing all necessary functionality provided by the program of International Civil Aviation Organization of ICAO are used. The complex is made by the Russian enterprise entering into structure of JSC Aeronavigatsionnye i informatsionnye sistemy and delivered to Egypt under the contract with national provider of air navigation services.
