"Tele2 Russia" started the system of inventory Sunvizion Network Inventory

On February 21, 2019 the company "Tele2 Russia" reported that it started Sunvizion Network Inventory. A system provides storage information about physical and logical levels of network infrastructure what in turn allows to optimize the processes connected with network management.

According to the company, the Sunvizion system stores all information on physical elements of a transport network and logical connections between them. A system includes the module Workflow allowing to exercise control of work at all stages of the processes connected with network maintenance, planning of network and the provided network services.

The auto discovery function allows Sunvizion to obtain data from the monitoring systems of network used by "Tele2 Rossiya". Processing the data obtained from several monitoring systems of network provided by different suppliers, the Sunvizion system plays a role of an umbrella system, providing to the user the complete and broad picture of network topology.

Intellectual data management about relevant load of separate radio lines allows schedulers of network to optimize a transport network and to prevent the problems connected with overloads of network. In case of high forecast value of utilization of section of network, the module Workflow Sunvizion creates tasks for users of a system for the purpose of optimization of network and elimination of risk of an overload.

System architecture of Sunvizion allows to connect information between logical layers and a physical layer of network. Information is projected from the top level of network on lower that finally allows to see communication between each logical connection of nodes and its physical implementation. It, including, allows to define correctness of the data entered manually into a system, their completeness. If logical connection has no in the system of physical implementation, then data should be added or corrected. If to integrate Sunvizion with the Fault Management system, then on the basis of collected data of Sunvizion it is possible to localize the general elements of accidents that considerably will reduce time of their elimination. In case of need planned shutdown of network segment of Sunvizion carries out the analysis on what specifically elements of network this shutdown will have an adverse effect and what services will be unavailable. It will allow the staff of maintenance department of network to estimate influence of the carried-out works for subscribers.

Operational management of network is impossible without optimization of a flow of the works connected with network. The module Workflow imports the inventories given from a system, starts process, distributes tasks among employees and exercises supervision over their accomplishment. Upon completion of process of Workflow loads the inventories given back in a system which using the auto discovery mechanism can compare result of this process with its expected purpose. The module Sunvizion Workflow can also be used for process optimization of control of legality of licenses for radio channels and base stations. A system will prompt the list of licenses, necessary to acquisition, and the optimal moment of their payment.^[1]
