Softline estimated the level of security of IT infrastructure of the Ochakovo plant from cyber attacks

In a project deliverable of SAM Cybersecurity implemented by Softline company, the Ochakovo plant could define perspectives of management of program assets for ensuring cyber security and increase in efficiency of business processes. On February 25, 2019 reported about it in Softline company.

IT department of the Moscow beer and soft drinks plant "Ochakovo" was faced by a task to estimate the level of security of infrastructure from cyber attacks and information leaks, to develop the plan for its increase. Besides, the customer prepared for prolongation of agreements on the program of corporate licensing Enterprise Agreement in which high requirements for protection against cyber attacks are also imposed. The guide of the customer made the decision to carry out the SAM project with the block on cyber security including assessment of security of infrastructure on 20 competences according to methodology of Critical Security Controls – Version 6.1.

Experts of Softline made the decision to make collection of data on an installed software of Microsoft separately on each of Ochakovo branches. As the instrument of inventory MAP Toolkit - the tool kit for the analysis and assessment of IT infrastructure of the organization working without use of programs agents was used. Besides, databases from anti-virus providing Eset NOD32 Antivirus were applied to the full analysis.

As a result of project works, specialists of Softline classified the level of a maturity of competences of JSC Cybersecurity MPBK Ochakovo as Basic and made recommendations about holding actions for increase in security of infrastructure. Among recommendations – to update outdated software versions and to regularly provide training of employees in the direction "Information security". Besides, the customer is informed on opportunities of the platform Microsoft 365 which part are Office 365, Windows 10 and Enterprise Mobility + Security. The built platform of communications based on solutions of Microsoft will provide fault tolerance of infrastructure and will provide continuous access to the latests version of the software.

For optimization of server capacities it is recommended to consider the possibility of transfer of the available licenses Windows Server in Microsoft Azure - Azure Hybrid Use Benefit (HUB).
