Content

From October, 2017 to December, 2018 at the consolidation "Evroplast" the project on creation of uniform automated information system was implemented.

Characteristics of production

(data for February, 2019):

  • 500 names of finished goods
  • 700 employees
  • 2 certain production sites (Mosk. Region, Yekaterinburg)
  • 5 workshops of the main production (the workshop is responsible for each direction of products separate)

Features of planning

  • Big list of finished goods
  • Planning taking into account availability of compression molds, form-building, hot channels, transitions in the flowers, losses of raw materials, restrictions whenever possible accomplishment of adjustments at night and so forth.
  • Different types and duration of adjustments when changing the equipment
  • Accounting when planning requirements of Customers for the used raw materials.
  • Accounting of analogs of raw materials when planning
  • Need to make finished goods partially on a warehouse for the purposes of preparation for a high season
  • Full integration of a system of volume planning in ERP at three levels: Strategic, Specifying, Operational.
  • Accounting of movements of finished goods between production sites

Project Objective

  • Creation of the uniform automated information system allowing to exercise production management at all stages from ready plans to operational from receipt of the request of the Customer before implementation of finished goods.
  • Reduction of time of creation of the production schedule without increase in number of losses and time of adjustments.
  • Receiving the tool for rapid response to changes of requests of Clients
  • Creation of the optimal production schedule taking into account restrictions on:
    • Availability of compression molds as additional hardware which is limited is subject to periodic repair and it can be used for release of different products at once
    • to Grouping of products on compression molds, the geometrical sizes, color for the purpose of minimization of setup time and losses.
    • Diagrams of the Party of Pensioners of Russia as capital and ancillary equipment

Project Results

  • The production scheduling system for calculation of the production program for a year/month/week is implemented
  • The optimization algorithm working by the user criteria is implemented (terms, readjustments, raw materials losses, priorities and so forth)
  • Double-sided integration with a 1C system is implemented : ERP 2, Solvo.WMS
  • The quality requirements influencing planning are implemented
  • Work with raw materials analogs
  • Special jobs for chiefs of changes and the logistician of workshop
  • Accounting of the actual accomplishment of transaction online
  • The possibility of operational evolution of the schedule in a type of deviations on production, changes of customer orders, changes of availability of the equipment is implemented.
