SIMATIC IT is an APS production system of SIEMENS.

Description

SIMATIC IT allows to execute complex modeling of production processes, to precisely define their opportunities and to obtain data from ERP level and the level of automatic equipment in real time. It provides execution of more effective management of production and growth of its flexibility.

Advantages of use

First, even difficult business processes and structures of production which can be joint afterwards most efficiently can be subjected to modeling.

The SIMATIC IT Production Suite software package allows consumers to develop and service MES systems which effectively synchronize, coordinate, analyze and optimize production. It covers the majority of the functionality which is required from a MES system, determined by S95 standard.

SIMATIC IT Production Suite is the powerful tool which is quickly developing production model of installation. It provides unique advantage - a possibility of conversion of such model to completely working application using SIMATIC IT or components of other suppliers.

Preactor 300 FSC

Creation of production schedules with limited resources (Finite Capacity Scheduling Tools)

Functionality of Preactor of version 300 FSC helps to build schedules of productive activity for the periods from several days to several months ahead. A big set of options allows to consider the situations connected with readjustment of the equipment for transition to production of a new product and multiple restrictions on resources on separate transaction, to break the order for batches depending on the made decisions on planning. Preactor 300 FCS is configured for planning of performance. The version allows to plan that where and when to make, based on information on expected demand, existence of ready goods in a warehouse and the principles of the order of component parts.

Preactor 400 APS

Operational scheduling, APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling)

Preactor 400 APS when scheduling activity considers the equipment, labor resources, tools and also materials. This version has solutions which promote minimization of time of readjustment and determination of a preferable algorithm of action, upon transition of production to a new product. If proposed solutions do not meet user requirements, there is a possibility of adding of specially developed solutions. Besides, function of automatic binding of individual orders on the basis of information on production orders for each level of specifications is implemented here. The solution calculates runtime of dependent orders, based on the rules set by the user.

Preactor 400 APS

Preactor 500 APS has all potential of version 400 APS with adding of functionality of AMC - Advanced Material Control (expanded control of materials), for control of the movement of materials in a production process. AMC visualizes information on existence and the movement of materials using the Overview of Materials tool.

There are additional opportunities for work with lists of materials (BoM) when using functionality "A possibility of the order". Preactor BoM Exploder is not intended for replacement of the module MRP in the ERP system. It is used in the mode "on demand" when the user needs to find achievable date of completion of production for one or several products.

A system provides:

  • the automated formation and start of the kits of parts and assemblies necessary for providing client orders taking into account work in progress and the backlogs which are available in warehouses on ready parts and assemblies;
  • automatic calculation of materials requirement and the component parts necessary for providing client orders taking into account existence in warehouses;
  • automatic formation of the list purchased scarce (absent in warehouses) component parts and materials with indication of required quantity (taking into account the size of the minimum and maximum purchasing lot) and desired delivery date.
  • calculation of the operational production schedule taking into account different criteria of optimization (minimization of readjustments, minimization of a WIP, parallel loading, lacing of bottlenecks, etc.);
  • formation of production schedules for work centers;
  • formation of analytical reports and managing production documents;
  • transfer of results of calculation on jobs in workshop, jobs of directors.
