"Silver of Magadan" implemented the automated control system for underground mining operations

On February 26, 2019 the company "VIST Group" announced start in pilot industrial operation automated control system by underground mining operations on pilot section of the field Lunar Magadan region century the Customer Silver of Magadan mining Polymetal", affiliated enterprise of the company Ltd acted.

Development of fields is a difficult process which requires attraction of the special equipment, the equipment and highly skilled the personnel. And the innovative automated solutions - a reliable and modern method to make work is much more effective.

The software created for pilot section allowed to automate formation of the uniform production reporting on the existing pits of Polymetal and during the underground works taking into account all available features of underground working off. The developed system passed all tests, whether it be difficult mining operations underground, severe Kolyma frosts or sharp temperature differences - from the warm mine to strong cold in the open air, noted in VIST Group.

Within project implementation modern technical solutions were applied to ensuring necessary functionality. For this purpose specialists of VIST Group conducted a number of researches and experiments, working in extreme conditions. For working off of solutions two underground dump trucks and the load-haul-dumper working in the general cycle were connected in a System.

In commercial operation specialists of Polymetal should begin to work with start in the created system, to estimate a chance which a system for management of underground mining operations gives, to analyze results, to draw necessary conclusions, and also to work ways of development taking into account features of a company performance.
