VTB selected the contractor on upgrade of online bank for 870 million rubles

On March 25, 2019 the VTB Bank summed up the request for proposals results on rendering services in modifying of a system for remote banking of individuals "VTB Online"^[1].

VTB will spend nearly 870 million rubles for development of the RBS system

3 applications from the companies EPAM Systems, "Philosophy.IT" and "were submitted for the tender with the starting price of contracts of 968 million rubles 65 Gigabyte". The offer of the last was rejected because of mismatch to requirements of documentation.

Requests of other participants were estimated on two main to criteria – the price of the agreement and qualification. Assessment of qualification was influenced by such factors as existence of the operating partner status of Adobe company, experience of rendering services, structure and the professional grade of a project team. The participant of request for proposals had to provide as a part of the request the reference with indication of the created team of employees and also the curriculum vitae of all stated specialists.

As a result of consideration of requests the greatest assessment was received by EPAM Systems company. She was recognized by the winner. The cost of the contract will be 869.6 million rubles, the term of its execution - 3 years.

The solution "VTB Online" includes a core, CIMlevel2 Minerva service, processing system of payments and the frontal solution on CQ5 Adobe platform (web content management system). Services in modifying of the RBS system should be rendered within 3 years from signature date of the agreement.

According to the technical project, the contractor of the project should render to the customer of 25 types of service, including such as project management and a Scrum-command, design of architecture, development, testing, preparation of design, carrying out systems analysis, etc.

Within design of architecture the contractor should monitor processes of work on system architecture according to accepted standards, trace target performance measures and provide implementation of architectural concepts.

Services of category "development" include planning and the organization of all-project development process, the review of the code after development, creation of unit-tests for the developed code, a bug fixing and other.

During systems analysis from the contractor collecting and the analysis of technical requirements, development of technical project and operational documentation, a configuration of the software and other services is required.
