The SWR Electrician - the software for creation of volume wiring.
2019: SWR Electrician of 2019
On March 14, 2019 the SWR company announced an exit of upgraded version of the software of the SWR Electrician of 2019 for creation of volume wiring.
According to the company, the module lays wires and cables on any routes in product model, calculates diameters of bundles and length of wires, cables and covers put on them. As initial data results of circuitry design of the module SolidWorks Electrical Schematics or any any electrotechnical CAD are used. Models of bundles and also graphic and text documentation on a bundle will be as a result created. The SWR Electrician uses the filled-up library of connectors, wires, multi-conductor cables, insulating tubes, the shielding wickers and so forth.
The version of the module SWR Electricians is compatible to versions of SolidWorks, SWE-PDM and SolidWorks Electrical Schematic 2017, 2018, 2019 and includes a set of the updated functions and improvements, for example:
- Possibilities of flexible management by data in the Installation Tree – sorting, grouping and data retrieval according to different criteria.
- Possibility of an exit of a wire and the cable core from nodes of routes without creation of special branches.
- Function of automatic adding in the project of parts of combined connectors, protective tubes on points of soldering, auxiliary materials.
- Possibility of input of restrictions for admissible accessions to contacts of connectors on number and section of wires.
- Function of creation of the route of "in parallel" already available.
- Possibility of a task of an allowance for length of a wire and cable percentage of their computational length.
- Acceleration of transaction of linking of connectors with objects of the module SolidWorks Electrical Schematic on 1-2 orders (the project is larger, the acceleration is more).
