Rostec started the Smart Bus project for "The smart city" in Kemerovo

On March 15, 2019 the Rostec company reported that Avtomatika concern together with Ruselectronics holding and administration of Kemerovo started a pilot project "The smart bus". In its framework passenger transport is equipped with the system of video control with function of analytics of a passenger traffic and surrounding transport that will allow to increase traffic safety, to optimize work of controllers and costs of city administration for passenger transport.

The project of the Novosibirsk institute of program systems of Avtomatika concern is started in the pilot mode and expected three months. At successful results it can be implemented in other Russian cities.

The system developed by NPO Impulse of Ruselectronics holding within the Smart City project includes video control function which conducts automatic calculation of a passenger traffic with an accuracy of 98%, face recognition and the forgotten things in salon, registration numbers of the passing cars. Besides, a system controls a status of the vehicle and quickly notifies the operator on faults.
