Estonia on the basis of AI creates "judge robot" who would be engaged in consideration of small disputes

The idea with creation of the electronic judge can quite be successful in Estonia — the country where about 1.5 million locals by the end of March, 2019 actively use the national ID card and also long ago got used to different Internet services — for example, to online vote  or electronic submission of the tax declaration.

The virtual judge will reduce the volume of routine tasks and will help experienced lawyers to be engaged in more complex and profitable affairs. Service will be improved on the basis of responses of lawyers and judges.

The executive director according to Estonia Ott Velsberg (Ott Velsberg) by request of the Ministry of Justice is engaged in the project. In 2018 the government invited the 28-year-old IT specialist for development of electronic state services using artificial intelligence and machine learning.

For judges not only Estonia is engaged in creation of robots assistants. Earlier London university college   (University College London)  and the University of Sheffield developed a computer system which, according to creators, is capable to predict the result of judicial proceedings when the speech about infringement of human rights, with a 79 percent accuracy.[1]
