Implementing solution on detection of vehicles and recognition of car numbers from Hikvision

On July 24, 2019 system integratortskt "MAY" supplemented the ACS with the solution on detection of vehicles and recognition of car numbers of Hikvision. A system functions based on own office of the company in Nizhny Novgorod.

Implementing solution on detection of vehicles and recognition of car numbers – the next stage of upgrade of the ACS of the office building of TsKT "MAY" which followed after deployment in the same place of the platform of face recognition.

The inconvenience of process of arrival and departure of cars on the territory of office of the company led to the decision on implementation of an automated system which would regulate work of a barrier without participation of employees and use of additional resources in the form of servers, additional databases, specialized software.

For the solution of a task Hikvision video cameras with analytics "onboard" are selected. Cameras are the end devices which are independently managing a barrier according to the scheme: obtaining the image - object definition as vehicle – recognition of number – a ratio with the database which is stored directly in the video camera – the admission or failure in the admission.

The automated system works in the mode of commercial operation 4 months, in its base more than 100 numbers of cars of employees and permanent guests of the company.

Numbers are recognized from distance of 4 meters from a barrier at the movement of the car at a speed of 30 km/h and below. Cameras are located so that to minimize the risks of inexact recognition connected with hit of rays of light on them.

Implementing solution on recognition of car numbers many times simplified process of journey of machines on the office territory, made management of the barrier automated and effective. Implementation of VisionLabs Luna and Trassir Face Recognition technologies in the ACS

On April 3, 2019 the system integrator TSKT "MAY" announced project implementation on face recognition system implementation based on own office of century Nizhny Novgorod. In a control and management system for access of the company there were are integrated technologies VisionLabs Luna and Trassir Face Recognition.

Improvement of information technologies and security systems and also aspiration to optimization and automation of workflows led company management of TsKT "MAY" to the decision on upgrade of the existing ACS by means of implementation of the platform of face recognition.

The first stage of the project - market research of services and sensing technologies of persons, the choice of solutions, mastering of competences and preparation for implementation - lasted month. Directly integration of platforms into the ACS took 4 days.

Platforms were implemented in parallel on different points of entry to office spaces. Except saving of time, a possibility of verification and identification of the personality on an input, the system of face recognition also collects statistical data about movement of employees in office for the analysis and optimization of workflows.

The system of face recognition works in the mode of commercial operation for a month, in the database for April, 2019 there are more than 100 people.
