Sinertek TTUM (Solid-state power amplifiers)

2019: Release of the 400th solid-state power amplifier

On April 4, 2019 the Sinertek company reported that it released the 400th solid-state power amplifier (TTUM). TTUM are applied to creation of spacecrafts of different function – navigation, communication, the remote sensing of Earth (RSE).

According to the company, power amplifiers are crucial elements of sending devices of spacecrafts. They strengthen a signal onboard satellites, allowing terminals of consumers to provide target function on Earth. Use of world-class technologies and the modern equipment allowed Sinertek to adjust serial product output with the guaranteed service life of 15 years and more. It is expected that increase in term of active existence of onboard equipment of space appointment will allow to optimize considerably finance costs on maintenance of the orbital systems.

Delivery of the 400th power amplifier assembled at our joint venture "Sinertek" is important achievement for Airbus Defence and Space in Russia. Together with "The Russian space systems" we managed not only to create production base in Russia, but also to adjust serial release of the hi-tech equipment conforming to the high quality standards. All production premises and also the assembly and test equipment "Sinertek" are completely certified according to the international and Russian manufacturing standards. Besides, the company constantly provides training of production personnel in Sinertek and on the platform Airbus DS in Portsmouth, Great Britain.

Technology partnership with Airbus Defence and Space allows us to master, adapt and apply the most effective technology and managerial practicians today. In February, 2016 the five-sided agreement of JSC RSC Energia, Airbus DS, Energiya SAT LLC, Sinertek and RKS within which it is supposed to deliver products of Sinertek to the Russian and foreign customers was signed. Serial production of amplifiers is conducted since 2017.

Sinertek and its founders are going to expand the nomenclature of the made products gradually. For April, 2019 Sinertek in close cooperation with RKS, NPP Almaz and Tesat Spacecom, Airbus DS subsidiary company, markets power amplifiers.
