Free providing editor to the business version to non-profit organizations

In 2019 the Canva company started the project on free providing the editor to the business version to staff of non-profit organizations in Russia (normal cost: about 850 rubles on 1 user a month).

More than 100 Russian NPOs already joined the project for January, 2020, including: Fund of Khabensky, AdVita, Fund of fight against leukemia, fund the help, the Lifeline Is necessary.

In Canva they create materials for campaigns for fund raising, a design for social networks and publications, the presentations, posters of actions, reports and other graphics and video which help to distribute information on socially important projects.

Cracking of service by the hacker of GhosticPlayers

On July 18, 2019 InfoWatch reported results of the II quarter 2019 in terms of leaks of confidential information from the organizations and defined the most large-scale incidents. Adding of functions for business in the IOS-APPLICATION

On April 19, 2019 the company Canva reported that it added in iOS-application functions for business.

According to the company, the Canva application for iOS received the big updating focused on individual entrepreneurs, marketing specialists and representatives of business who use Canva for fast design in the corporate style, increases in brand recognition, advertizing and other types of marketing.

The packet of Canva for Work is focused on a segment of small business: many entrepreneurs are not tied to work at the computer and want to create attractive images for promotion of the goods and services in any place and at any time. Canva provides such functionality, saving a lot of time and means on services of designers and allowing to create consecutive and recognizable visual style of a brand.

One of updates — Magic size variation. It is an opportunity to instantly change the size and an aspect ratio of the image with automatic adaptation a design under the updated format that allows to use the same design of the picture for several purposes or in social networks, transferring it to the optimal size. For example, the standard square publication for Instagram can be turned into one contact in "history", an illustration for electronic mailing, the model for printing of a flyer or the sheet A4.

Canva for Work for iOS also gives unlimited access to an image bank of pictures, icons and cliparts from huge online library for April, 2019 in more than 2 million images on any subject. In the directory there are stylish stock photos for personal and commercial use, an illustration, an icon and decorative elements for a design of banners, buttons, advertizing and other formats of graphics. The choice of the necessary elements is performed in a search line.

The third function - management of the corporate style: always to have near at hand the necessary shades of colors for consecutive use them in designs and also loading of a logo for its fast adding on all necessary images.

And at last, in the business version of Canva for iOS users had an opportunity to save images in the PNG format with a transparent background that happens it is necessary for work on the presentations, logos and other types of graphics.

Users of iPhone and iPad actively use Canva in work: for updating of accounts, relevant offers in social networks, advertizing creation. And they want to use all those opportunities of design, as on the computer.
