Zyxel equipped MIEM Higher School of Economics National Research University with network equipment

On April 22, 2019 Higher School of Economics National Research University (HSE) and the producer of network equipment ZyXEL company announced resuming of strategic cooperation in the field of hardware of training centers of the university. In 2019 the company completely converted the Authorized training center on development and operation of computer networks of MIEM Higher School of Economics National Research University, having equipped it with modern network equipment. And teachers of the center underwent training and certification in the international training center ZyXEL in Germany.

As it was reported, for the purpose of education quality improvement the institute together with key business partners transforms the educational and scientific environment and with assistance of Zyxel in a complex changes the outdate systems for new. Modern network equipment of ZyXEL will be used by students of the different subject matters connected with creation and functioning of computing systems and computer networks. Including, for student's engineering and research projects within project activity. And also for implementation of programs of additional professional education in the "Network and Telecommunication Technologies" direction.

The equipment of ZyXEL, in particular the cloud systems and devices based on technology of the program focused networks (SDN), allows students to purchase the relevant practical skills necessary at future work and to be ready to solving of tasks of the employer right after release. Besides, pupils can pass seven certified programs of training of engineers of ZyXEL Certified Network Engineer (ZCNE) with obtaining certificates of the international sample.

Zyxel - one of large international manufacturing companies of network equipment. This equipment has good professional reputation and is widely used in practice. Receiving skills of work on such equipment at the university, students of the HSE get competitive advantage at revenues to work in the coherent companies. For MIEMA interaction with Zyxel is important also because it helps to organize the student's projects which are carried out within implementation of project model of the training developed at institute.
