Rostelecom implements the Clear sky project in three Dagestan cities

On April 22, 2019 Rostelecom announced conclusion of an agreement with administrations of three cities of Dagestan on project implementation Clear sky. In Makhachkala, Derbent, Kaspiysk specialists of the company will transfer air communications of operators from vertical support of electricity transmissions to underground linearly - cable constructions of communication.

Specialists of Rostelecom made road maps of projects on the cities. The actions plan is a meeting with telecom operators for discussion of options of partner interaction within Clear sky. An important stage is inventory of cable economy – according to the statistics, a considerable part of "an air web" is formed by communication wires which are not used any more and it is necessary to get rid of them. Further agreements with project participants are according to the plan signed and only then carrying out works begins.

We are going to transfer aerial lines to the underground, well protected and equipped sewerage. Taking into account that underground cables are on permanent maintenance and have direct injection to buildings, it will be much simpler to connect clients. Rostelecom will carry out all works due to own investments which will return to the company through inclusion of costs in a rate for which operators will pay service of the networks. Thus, from project implementation advantages will be got by both participants, and citizens.

The cables hanging over streets become a serious esthetic problem for the cities. Moreover, on "vozdushka" there are accidents and rushes as a result of the natural phenomena, such as thunderstorms, hurricanes, sleet. There were ignition cases in apartment houses when from an overload there was a short circuit of electrical wires. In the capital of the republic process of "clear-out of wires" will begin with our Leninsky district, with Gamidov Avenue and Laptiyev Street in the residential district Geared. Transfer of aerial communication lines under the earth — not only a question of an esthetics and image of the locality, is still a question economic and operational: the communication lines placed in the cable sewerage are affected much less by both the weather phenomena, and third parties therefore their service life increases and operation costs are reduced.
