On October 1, 2020 the brand of OPPO announced an exit of a series of cameraphones of Reno4: Reno4 Lite and Reno4 Pro, the first structure of OPPO with support of technology 5G in Russia. Reno4 Pro will please users with advanced opportunities of night video filming with a wide angle lens and ultrastabilization of Steady Video 3.0. Ultrathin Reno4 Lite is equipped with AI cameras for any scenario of use. 48 Megapixels the main and 8 Megapixels wide angle modules and also front cameras with double depth of field will allow to take accurate pictures of the professional grade.

OPPO Reno4 series combines functionality in the stylish body and is suitable for a dynamic way of life.

Stylish, thin (7.6 mm) and easy (it is powerful only 172 g) smartphone Reno4 Pro will surprise the most exacting users. The screen with the diagonal of 6.5 inches with update rate of 90 Hz is covered with the heavy-duty Gorilla Glass 5 glass and occupies 93.4% of useful area of the device. Reno4 Pro is equipped powerful processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G, supporting modes 5G SA\NSA that provides the maximum speed of loading – 500 Mbps and the speed limit of downloading of 1.9 Gbps. Antenna 360 ° activates technology of the intellectual choice of network for stable connection 5G. The universal configuration of cameras is provided to Reno4 Pro: the main 48 Megapixels, ultrawide angle 12 Megapixels, 13 Megapixels a telephoto lens on the back panel and also 32 Megapixels of a selfie camera. The compact body, the rounded edges and unique covering of Reno Glow — Reno4 Lite will surprise users with distinguished design. Thickness of the device is only 7.48 mm, and weight — about 164 g.

OPPO Reno4 Lite has 6.43-inch Super AMOLED-дисплеем with permission of Full HD+. The smartphone is equipped with two front cameras: 16 Megapixels the main and 2 Megapixels — depth sensor. The technology of fast gymnastics of 18 W helps to stay in touch: it is enough to charge the smartphone within five minutes to provide three hours of a conversation. At device charging at night the indicator reaches 80%, further the smart algorithm analyzes behavior of the user and activates a further charge only before awakening. Moreover, the mode of energy saving allows to distribute rationally remained charge. So, 5% will last for 70 minutes of calls or 30 minutes of use of the navigator.

Anti-Lag Engine, an algorithm of OPPO, prevents fragmentation of files in memory of the smartphone, accelerating work with documents for 130% and applications launch for 40% and also prolonging device service life.

In Russia Reno4 Lite will be available in black and turquoise colors, it is possible to purchase model at the price of 24,990 rubles. Reno4 Pro 5G in black and blue colors costs 59,990 rubles.

2019: Start of a line of the Oppo Reno smartphones

On April 24, 2019 the OPPO company announced official European start of smartphones of a line — Reno. Feature of these smartphones is the sliding camera on the rotary module, a 10-fold hybrid zoom without loss of quality and the panoramic screen. The technologies used in the Reno series give to owners of devices different opportunities for creativity.

The Reno series is provided by 3 models with different sets of characteristics: Reno 5G, Reno and Reno 10x Zoom. The latest two models from a line will be available in Russia. All versions will be released in two gradient coloring: "black graphite" and "azure ocean". Smartphones of the Reno series have the thin integral body. On the back panel of the device there are no acting parts. By production Reno bilateral chemical polish which gives the chance to level differences in thickness of different sections of a panel was applied. After chemical nanopolish for creation of a smooth surface was carried out. Such processing allowed to achieve ideal transition between glossy and opaque sections.

Esthetics

Smartphones of the Reno series have a rotary sliding panel. The panel allowed to hide the front camera, the loudspeaker and flashes in the smartphone body that the screen occupied all front surface. The panel quickly reveals. On complete promotion 0.8  seconds are required. The front camera in the opened status is located at an angle 11  degrees.

The sliding panel is expected more than  200,000  operations. If to use the front camera about 100  times a day, the panel will serve more than 5  years. In addition, it is equipped with a special protection gear: sensors will recognize that phone falls, and the panel automatically develops in order to avoid damages.

Models of the Reno series are provided in two gradient coloring complemented with contrast between opaque and glossy sections: it "the azure ocean" with a dark green outflow and "black graphite" with impregnations gray and blue. The back camera of the Reno smartphones is completely removed under a surface 3D - glasses  — at the expense of it the back panel turned out equal, without overhangs. In the Reno series it is made of the Corning Gorilla 5.0 glass. In this series the ceramic semicircular overhang or Point of O is applied. The ceramic overhang  is an element on the back panel of the device which creates a small gap when the smartphone is put on a flat surface and by that protects the camera from direct contact with it.

The screen in all models of this series is covered with the high-strength Corning Gorilla Glass glass of the 6th generation.

OPPO Reno 10x Zoom is equipped with AMOLED display with diagonal 6.6  inches (standard Reno  — the display with diagonal 6.4  inches), with  the resolution of 2340x1080 pixels and an aspect ratio 19.5:9. At the display very thin frame. The ratio of the area of the screen to the area of the front panel makes 93.1%, and it has no notches or openings.

One of features of the camera  — correction of portrait images. If to remove a portrait at night, the camera will automatically recognize a human face, selects it against the background of surrounding objects and accurately recreates the image, monitoring that skin had a beautiful shade and the picture it turned out more attractive.

Reno 10x Zoom works based on mobile Qualcomm Snapdragon  platform 855  - it is a single-crystal system a SOC system from Qualcomm, capable to interact with 5G- the modem. The standard Reno model is equipped processor Snapdragon  710 and guarantees stable work in combination with a hardware configuration.   For maintenance of performance during the long time frames smartphones of the Reno series equipped with capacious accumulators. OPPO also finished technology of fast charging and released its version  —  VOOC 3.0. It allows to save high tension during the compensating recharge and prolongs device operating time. Reno 10x Zoom is equipped with the accumulator with a capacity of 4065 mA  · h. Also in OPPO Reno the accumulator on  3,765 mA will be installed · h.   The OPPO smartphones of the Reno series work under control of  ColorOS 6  - it is the version of the corporate interface based on Android P   (Android 9.0). The gradients used in execution of the interface allowed to achieve more natural transitions. In  ColorOS 6 the personal and game assistant, a navigation bar and a smart management system which automatically closes not used applications through a certain period for optimization of energy consumption were also finished.

OPPO there began sales  of Reno 5G in Switzerland as the local operator Swisscom actively supports the project of deployment of a 5G networks. During official start of sales in To Europe OPPO company showed possibilities of application of a 5G technologies on Reno series smartphones, including cloud games based on a 5G, multiplayer games with elements added and virtual reality, high-speed loading and unloading files.
