InStock Technologies finished automation of the warehouse "Towers"

On April 25, 2019 the InStock Technologies company reported that it finished automation of a warehouse of Terem LLC company.

According to the company, earlier in a warehouse of the company the warehouse management system on the basis of 1C was already installed, however this system did not cope with numerous tasks which appeared with business development. Automation of a warehouse taking into account high intensity of processes, large volumes of a tovaroobrabotka, a large number of product names and permanent expansion of the range was required. As the updated WMS the Terem company selected InStock WMS.

InStock WMS in a warehouse of Terem LLC company at the same time manages placement and selection of products in different storage systems, exercises quality control on weight arriving from production, considers unique signs of units of production when processing goods.

Process automation of acceptance allowed to increase the speed of further processes of placement, selection and shipment. At a stage of acceptance InStock WMS on the basis of signs of goods defines its most optimal placement in different zones and creates the mixed pallets for their layout in certain zones. InStock WMS when processing the range of goods considers specific features of products, enclosure of packaging, lot-based and individual signs of goods that allows to exercise more precisely control at different stages of merchandising.

Selection of goods in different zones is made by razy methods. If the goods are selected in a box, InStock WMS on the basis of data on goods, rules of combination of products for certain partners determine the optimal size of a container. Special methods of selection are applied also to gravitational and console racks. Transactions of control are optimized on performance under large volumes of a tovaroobrabotka.
