On May 22, 2019, it became known that specialists from the VIST Group companies (part of the Numa Group of Companies) and KonsOM SKS developed an automated open mining management system (ASUOGR) for Bystrinsky GOK. This is a software product that allows you to optimize ore transportation processes, increase the efficiency of the use of equipment and equipment, reduce costs and ensure the safety of personnel.
VIST Group specialists automated the process of optimal supply of mountain transport for loading and unloading to obtain ore with averaged characteristics by composition, as well as calculating the optimal route of mountain transport to reduce transportation costs. A model of optimal organization of temporary ore storage warehouses was built with the calculation of the necessary reserves and assessment of the impact of transportation on the average chemical composition of raw materials. In addition, a measurement of the chemical element content of the ore stream to be processed was digitalized to control the charge.
The entire fleet of mining equipment was equipped with on-board computers, positional equipment that allows optimizing mining operations, and sensors that control all important operating parameters: mileage, motor hours, inclination angles, consumed fuel and others. The installed Quarry software facilitates the work of almost all services of the Bystrinsky GOK. Dispatchers in real time monitor compliance with the mining plan, receive all the necessary reports, quickly compile travel lists with automatic completion of all the necessary data, monitor the exit schedule of drivers, etc. Moreover, the system has been integrated with the radio stations used by staff, and it is now possible to monitor the movement of personnel in the work area in real time, which significantly improves security.
The peculiarity of the implemented project is that as part of the solution of the task of automation of production logistics, the need to track the chemical composition of ore was added to the standard parameters of speed, volume and routes. For this, the technology of X-ray fluorescence analysis was combined with mathematical methods: they created a mathematical model of transportation, organized a continuous measurement of the chemical composition of ore in the stream and linked all these data into a single integration stream of processed data. As a result, a system providing information support for ore extraction and transportation processes for automated charging.
The implemented system laid the foundation for the operational planning system of the Bystrinsky GOK, which will help employees save strength and time, avoid mistakes, reduce enterprise costs, and ensure high quality of raw materials. In the future, the functionality of this system can be significantly expanded. Steps have already been taken with an eye to the future. A reserve of measuring sensors and components for equipment was created, which will be put into operation in the coming years, as well as plans already have digitalization of drilling machines and mixing and charging machines for drilling and blasting operations[1]
