"And + About Transproekt" developed the scheme of public transport of Krasnodar

On May 23, 2019 the And + About Transproekt company, the Russian competence center in the field of modeling of traffic flows and transport planning, announced implementation of the complex project for administration of Krasnodar. Together with Higher School of Economics specialists of the company developed the complex scheme of the organization of public transport and created the single database for management of transport infrastructure of Krasnodar and its suburbs. In the course of work modern software products for transport modeling, including — digital RITM3 platform, own development of And + About Transproekt are used.

Evgeny Pervyshov shared opinion:

It is obvious that the strategy of development for a transport network of the city which will concern all complex is necessary for Krasnodar: and organizations of the movement along roads, and development of public transport. It is a basis of planning of all our actions in these directions. The main task that the city became more comfortable for inhabitants that on it was more conveniently and quicker to reach, for example, from the house and in general — to everyone to plan for work the day. The complex scheme of the organization of public transport is designed to help to reach qualitatively other level of transport service of inhabitants and safety of transport movements in the Krasnodar agglomeration. Its development will allow to optimize transport solutions and the sequence of their implementation taking into account change of different factors and also most effectively to operate and service the city park of vehicles.

Artem Doronin told:

Krasnodar has strengths. In good condition - the park of the electric transport, we plan its updating, there is a potential for development of railway communication. However a number of problems still should be solved. For example, there is a potential for development of a system of public transport. There is also a so-called 'unproductive duplication of route network' — on a number of routes carriers compete for passengers while on others citizens should wait for buses long. Systemically to solve these problems, we attracted a pilot command behind which shoulders long-term experience of development of a system of public transport in the different cities of the country. The And + About Transproekt command offered a number of actions which will help the city to optimize the transport system significantly: developed the selected bands for public transport with calculation of their efficiency, prepared offers on development of a tram system, designed new sections of route network and transport objects, submitted the plan of creation of city electric trains and development of street trunk transport.

Christian Byottger emphasized:

Any change in the transport systems shall be estimated in measurable indicators — they will show that the region will receive as a result of investments. For Krasnodar we offered methodology of calculation of transport effect which includes both economic indicators, and indicators of change of availability, social involvement, security and the environment.
