Simetra has equipped VTM Dorproject with a Russian digital platform RITM³

SIMETRA has equipped VTM Dorproekt with the Russian digital platform RITM³. Simetra announced this on December 27, 2024.

The delivery includes three digital platform modules - GIS (Geo-Information System for Data Collection, Storage, Analysis and Graphical Visualization), Digital Twin and Transport Forecasting and Modeling.

VTM Dorproekt is engaged in modeling traffic flows and calculations for road transport infrastructure facilities. With the help of SIMETRA software, the company will transfer its design work to the domestic software environment.

We are glad that we will begin to use the domestic digital platform RITM³ in our work. We previously worked German software with the company, PTV Group but this vendor left Russia. The transition to RITM³ was preceded by a testing period, during which we got acquainted with the system, studied its capabilities. As a result, we were satisfied with the available functionality. RITM³ will allow us to carry out our design work at a high quality level and choose effective informed solutions for the tasks of customers, "said Dmitry Elistratov, deputy chief engineer for transport planning at VTM Dorproekt.

The delivery includes three key RITM³ modules that complement each other. With them, VTM Dorproject transport engineers will be able to close the pool of professional tasks related to the creation of a digital twin of the road transport system, modeling traffic flows, calculating scenarios, and working out measures to optimize traffic along the network. Thanks to the functionality in terms of data visualization, it is RITM³ convenient to work with calculation results, matrices and tables in the system, "said Oleg Yakovenko, director of software sales at SIMETRA Group.
